All Irwin Windows utilize "Super A Glass" which consists of 2 lites of glass seperated by an inorganic metal spacer. Spacer corners are bent to be air/gas tight. The spacer contains "Formula 40" which absorbs the moisture vapor within the airspace.

The dual seal construction has a primary seal of compressed polysobutylene (butyl) and a secondary seal silicone. All Irwin Windows have been certified to Class CBA through the IGCC (Insulating Glass Certification Council) Program.
